Hi! I am Down Home Mom aka Joan Vasquez! I really hate describing myself in 3rd person, so I am going to tell you about myself just as I would if I were speaking to you in person.
I am a Christian entrepreneur, married and have 6 kids. My husband and I have worked from home since 2005. Frankly, we would not have it any other way.
My husband and I own three companies: LocalHoma.com, WeGetYouFoundLocal.com and DownHomeMom.com.
My kids homeschool, we live in the country, we have a horse and 5 dogs.
I am also pretty transparent, over-deliver to my clients, tend to be a bit of a perfectionist and like having control of my own schedule. (Which is but one reason I homeschool and work from home… 
)
I gave this site a vintage look because I get pretty sentimental when I think about the days in which my grandma’s and mom grew up. Things were a bit simpler then in some ways and maybe a bit more complicated in others.
